Makinde Mourns Late Pa Rueben Famuyide Fasoranti

APM Presidential candidate and Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde has described the death of Afenifere leader , Pa Rueben Famuyide Fasoranti as end of an era.

Makinde who further described the death as devastating, said Baba died when Nigeria need genuine consultations, reset they fought for from the colonial master’s and sustained in the western region.

He said it is saddened that Baba died at this critical time when his fatherly advise is needed, particularly to keep the legacies of our fallen heroes been misused under the present administration.

The governor who made the remark during a condolence visit on Wednesday to the residence of the late sage in Akure.

While saying his death as a great loss, Makinde said “Baba was supposed to be our rallying point that we will tap his wealth of experience particularly at this political period. ”

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the late elder statesman, saying may their legacies not be in vain .
