BREAKING: Professor Isa Ali Pantami Now PDP Governorship Candidate for 2027 Gombe Election

Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Pantami, has reportedly been declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Gombe State.

Pantami, who had earlier withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary, was said to have reached out to PDP leaders in Gombe State aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to seek the party’s governorship ticket.
According to reports, the request was accepted by the party leadership.
He was subsequently announced as the PDP governorship candidate on Monday during a gathering attended by former Governor of Gombe State and Senator representing Gombe North, Ibrahim Dankwambo.
