APC Candidate promises integration of non- indigenous Nigerians in Nasarawa

The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the Karu/Gitata constituency of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for the 2027 General Election, Hon. Abraham Habu Ekpo, has promised to initiate law that would fully integrate, provide benefits and privileges for indignation for non-indigenous people in Nasarawa State.

According to him, the law when passed, would fully integrate those who have lived and contributed positively for the development of the state.

Addressing the party faithful during his endorsement for the 2027 Nasarawa State House of Assembly for the Karu/Gitata state constituency, Hon Abraham Ekpo emphasized the need for Nasarawa State to advance ahead of other states in granting the right and privileges to other law-abiding Nigerians who have lived, work or do businesses that have contributed positively to the growth of the economy of the state.

“There are people from other state, living and doing business. I will ensure that those who lived here for decades, contributing meaningfully to the development of the state get some level of comfortability that would make them feel belonging,“ the candidate said.

Also speaking, Comrade Adamu Ladan, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Strategic Communication to Karu local government Chairman, Barr. Abubakar Aliyu Madaki, called on all residents of the Karu/Gitata state constituency to vote for Hon. Abraham Habu Ekpo in the 2027.

According to him, Ekpo is a detribalized figure whose days as the Head, Information and Protocol Unit of the Nasarawa State University Keffi, and as the immediate past Secretary of the Karu Local Government Council, contributed to not only Karu, but to the state in general.

Comrade Ladan, said the endorsement of the APC state House of Assembly Candidate was organized by the Igbo community in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State and assured them that they have made the right decision because Abraham Ekpo, is a tested and proven leader who genuinely has the interests of the people at heart.

Representing the South East Vanguard, Prince Emeka Turugo, opined that the people of the South East resident in Nasarawa State are being galvanized for political and economic inclusion to ensure that the state develops for the good of all.

According to Prince , even though the Igbo people are known for their focus in business, they are currently being encouraged to participate in politics through the South East Vanguard, especially in Nasarawa State, and vote for the best candidates.

Prince Emeka Turugo gave an assurance that the Igbos resident in Karu and Nasarawa as a whole would continue to support Hon. Ekpo and other APC candidates in their political quest, as well as remain steadfast and committed to the political and economic development of the state.
