Strait Of Hormuz: The Narrow Passage of Life

For weeks now, the war between Iran and USA has been raging with a lot of colossal damages.

It comes with a lot of lessons, stiring up musings in so many minds.

This war as intense as it has been, wasting innocent blood and resources has been a turning point in some people’s lives, a bible the read everyday, giving them reasons to be closer to God, understand the futility of life and the transient nature of the world and all that it projects in their dazzling and glittering dimensions. Vanity upon Vanity, the conclusion of the matter.

A lot I have picked from this war that has caused a lot of economic shake ups, railroading many into situations that is at best description very awry and strangulating.

Strait Of Hormuz is one of those things that actually hit me with deep inspiration. The name has been very recurrent in the various serious discussions on the Iran- Israel and USA war.

For those who don’t understand what Strait Of Hormuz is all about. The Strait of Hormuz is located in the Middle East, between two countries:
Iran on the north side
Oman (and the Musandam Peninsula) on the south side.

It connects two important bodies of water:The Persian Gulf and The Gulf of Oman, which leads to the Arabian Sea and the wider ocean.

Somewhere in the waters of the world a thin stretch of sea, quiet on the map, yet mighty in its consequence. That sea is Strait of Hormuz.

Through its narrow corridor pass vessels carrying the strength of nations- Oil. The world watches it, guards it, studies it, because a small passage can hold the weight of many destinies. Less could be more.

Life itself moves like that.
Between two hearts there is always a “Strait of Hormuz” a narrow space where truth must sail gently, where emotions travel like ships seeking safe harbor, where misunderstandings, like hidden reefs, can threaten the journey.

Relationships are not destroyed in the wide oceans of life; they are often tested in the narrow places of Strait of Hormuz. There are many things that would threaten this Strait of Hormuz in ones life and relationship not limited to
A careless word.
A silence too long.
A pride unwilling to bend.
Keeping of secret on sensitive things, betrayal, creating atmosphere of distrust and deviousness. Cheating, ego projection, brashness etc.

These are the storms that close and clog the passage.Yet when patience stands like a lighthouse, when humility lowers its anchor, when forgiveness opens the waters again— love flows once more.

Spiritually, the soul also carries its own strait of Hormuz. Between humanity and God lies a sacred passage not wide, not noisy, not crowded— Strait of Hormuz.
It is quiet.
It is inward.
It is the silent place where prayer travels without sound.

Sometimes we think heaven has grown distant, but often it is the channel of the heart that has grown cluttered with the ships of worry, fear, ambition, and restless noise. God does not abandon the passage no matter how raging and destructive the war in the mind is.

He waits beside it like a patient tide, ready to move again once the waters are cleared. Life teaches us a quiet wisdom: Guard the narrow places.
Guard the small conversations that heal wounds. Guard the gentle gestures that sustain love. Guard the silent moments that connect the soul to the divine. They are your Strait of Hormuz any clog of it would be very disastrous.

History itself has shown that a narrow strait can influence the world. In the same way, a narrow passage of kindness, a narrow bridge of understanding, a narrow road of faith can change the direction of a life.

Sometimes the greatest movements of destiny
do not happen in vast oceans— they happen in the small passages we choose to keep open.

Think of a situation where Strait of Hormuz is blocked and made impassable? A situation where vessels carrying oil are stuck on the sea, no movement, stagnated. The source of the oil may be unharmed but the channel of distribution has been blocked. Imagine the ripple effect on the world economy.

You may be rich, abundantly secured with all that give life meaning, if the Strait of Hormuz channel in your life is blocked, threatened etc your life, though shrouded in abundance but like a tree at the centre of a desert it would begin to wither and shrivel.

Look for your Strait of Hormuz in your relationship with God and humanity, protect it with a precision that is beyond military.
