The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says the Air Component of the Joint Task Force, Operation HADIN KAI, has dealt a significant blow to terrorist elements with a precision airstrike on a major enclave in Kangarwa, Northern Tumbuns, Borno State.

According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, in Abuja, the operation followed credible intelligence and confirmed surveillance of insurgent activities in the area.
The statement notes that NAF air assets carried out coordinated and aggressive strike missions after positive identification of the target.
It explains that the bombardment destroyed key infrastructure, logistics hubs, and neutralised several fighters.
The statement further emphasizes that the strike has considerably weakened the terrorists’ operational capacity and disrupted their movements.
It adds that the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, reaffirmed the NAF’s commitment to sustaining intelligence-driven operations until all terrorist strongholds are eliminated.
