Abducted Oyo School Principal, Teachers Beg Tinubu, Makinde For Rescue From Captivity
Terrorists responsible for the mass abduction of school teachers and about 40 pupils in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State have released another video showing the captives.
The newly released footage showed the victims looking exhausted and distressed. In the video, a school principal identified as Mrs. Alamu made an emotional appeal to the government for urgent intervention.
Speaking on behalf of the abducted victims, Mrs. Alamu appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde and well-meaning Nigerians to help secure their freedom.
She warned that the kidnappers were becoming increasingly impatient and frustrated, urging the Oyo State Government to negotiate directly with the abductors to ensure the safe release of the victims.
“President Tinubu, Governor Seyi and every other well-meaning Nigerians, please help us. You don’t need force. All you have to do is negotiate with them to release us. We are in the cold. We are under the sun, under the rain, the children and the adults as well.
“Please we are begging. Don’t let them waste our lives. They are getting impatient and frustrated. Please help us. We are begging you in the name of God. Please help us. Don’t leave us here. Don’t forget us in the bush,” she said.
One of the teachers who was abducted alongside her baby was also seen in the video pleading with the government to rescue all the victims alive.
