Tragedy in Abuja as Corps Member Allegedly Stabs Father to Death

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has commenced an investigation into the death of Mr.

Adimike Godwin, whose body was discovered after authorities received a distress call from concerned residents.
According to findings, Godwin was allegedly stabbed by his son, who is currently serving as a corps member, at their residence in Guzape, Abuja.
Confirming the incident, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that officers responded swiftly to the report and found the victim lying in a pool of blood with severe injuries inside the residence.
She explained that the victim was immediately taken to Karu General Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed him dead.
Following the incident, police operatives arrested five suspects, including a relative of the deceased, as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Adeh added that the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, had directed a thorough and discreet investigation into the matter.
She also appealed to residents to remain calm and support the investigation by providing useful information that could assist the police.(The Nation)
