Ward 10, Ward 14 Crisis: Princess Elegbeji Advocates Calm, Peaceful Political Engagement

Supporters of Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji have strongly condemned the violence that disrupted the MHR primary process in Ward 10, Ogijo, and Ward 14, Agbowa, in Sagamu Local Government Area.
The group described the incidents as a serious threat to democratic values and appealed for calm as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.According to party loyalists, Elegbeji has always promoted peace, unity, and issue-driven politics. They emphasized that electoral processes must take place without intimidation, violence, or disorder, warning against any attempt to compromise democracy through acts of unrest.
Speaking through her supporters, Elegbeji maintained that political ambition should never be placed above human lives, public safety, or the peaceful reputation associated with Remo Federal Constituency. She urged aspirants and political stakeholders to embrace dialogue and understanding instead of confrontation.
The group also noted that Remo has long been recognized for political maturity and peaceful coexistence. They encouraged party members and supporters to uphold tolerance and democratic principles, stressing that such values would strengthen both the party and the constituency ahead of future elections.
Elegbeji further called on security agencies and party leadership to ensure adequate monitoring and fairness during subsequent political exercises. She stated that proactive steps must be taken to prevent a recurrence of the incidents recorded in Ward 10, Ward 14, and other parts of Sagamu.
Despite the disturbances, her supporters reaffirmed their confidence in her leadership qualities. They described her as a symbol of responsible representation and progressive politics committed to the growth and development of Remo Federal Constituency.
