BREAKING :Kano 2027: Kwankwaso Joins Governorship Contest as Deputy Candidate

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso has been announced as the deputy governorship candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State for the 2027 election.

He will contest alongside Aminu Gwarzo, who is the party’s governorship candidate.
Mustapha Kwankwaso is the first son of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NDC’s vice-presidential candidate.
The development was confirmed on Monday by the spokesperson of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Habibu Saleh Mohammed, in a statement.
According to him, “HE Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo unveiled Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as running mate for the 2027 Governorship Election.”
The announcement formally positions Mustapha Kwankwaso as the deputy governorship candidate on the NDC ticket ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Kano State.
