The Katsina State Government has announced the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar while being held captive by bandits.

In a statement issued on Saturday by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasiru Mu’azu, the government disclosed that the retired military officer died from complications related to diabetes and hypertension during his captivity.
