2026 Common Entrance Results Out as Top Score Hits 202

The Federal Government has released the results of the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission into Federal Unity Colleges and the Federal Government Academy, Suleja.

Announcing the results in Abuja, the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmad, reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s unity colleges through sustained investments in infrastructure, improved feeding programmes and enhanced teacher quality.
She disclosed that 60,357 candidates registered for the 2026 examination, while 56,950 sat for the test and 3,407 were absent. Out of the maximum obtainable score of 210, ten candidates scored the highest mark of 202, while 82 candidates recorded the lowest score of one.
Prof. Ahmad directed the Senior Secondary Education Department to ensure that the admission process is concluded promptly and in strict compliance with the approved guidelines, stressing that the admission criteria for Federal Unity Colleges remain unchanged.
Earlier, while presenting the results to the minister, the Registrar and Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof. Ibrahim Wushishi, commended the Federal Ministry of Education for its support in ensuring the successful conduct of the examination.
Prof. Wushishi also assured that the government would continue to improve teaching and learning conditions in the colleges to meet the growing expectations of parents and students.
