Football Beyond entertainment
By Dr jalarth Uche Opara
For the remaining period of this World Cup I would be discussing Football not from the point of entertainment, rather for the lenses of business, relationship, religion, politics, ethics, moral etc.
Call it football beyond entertainment, one may not be wrong.
Moment With Sam, where I speak moral issues will be the platform.Football is not just a game of goals and trophies; it is a masterclass in building and sustaining business relationships.
Today I would be discussing Football from the lens of business .Every successful club demonstrates principles that every entrepreneur, executive, employee, and organization should embrace.
No matter how gifted a striker is, one player cannot win every match alone. Likewise, no business thrives solely because of one individual. Success depends on collaboration, complementary strengths, and mutual trust.
In your business build partnerships, not personalities.
Football clubs negotiate transfers because both parties see value. The buying club gains talent, while the selling club receives compensation.
Every healthy business relationship should create value for everyone involved. Win-win relationships last longer than win-lose arrangements. Players get encouraged to give in their best when their welfare isn’t compromised. Same is applicable in employee and employer relationship. For premium productivity of employee their welfare should be of great concern.
Hope this will help you in your business relationship and transactions. Football beyond entertainment
