Be Honest In Managing What Belongs To God – Rev. Oyelami
The Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami wants christians to always be honest in managing what belongs to God within their possession.
Reverend Deji Oyelami made the call in his sermon during the Church’s Sunday service in Gwagwalada Abuja.
Reading from the book of James Chapter 1 verse 16 and 17, the Baptist Cleric said whatever everyman posseses is by the grace of God hence the need for christians to use either their talent, gift of the spirit, wisdom, position, wealth, knowledge or whatever within their means to the glory of God.
In his words “Every good things come from God therefore whatever good things that our hands find doing, we should use each and everyone of them in serving the Lord and we should not forget the Most High God who by His mercy and grace bless us in one way or the other because there are many people out there seeking the same favour from their creator” He stated.

According to him, God is expecting from every christian that whatever they have and whatever they become on earth is known to God and possessing it is not by their might or power.
Reverend Deji Oyelami who expressed concern over the attitude of some christians in their service to God noted that every blessings, time and period is giving to them by God pointing out that they should always put God first in the course of their stewardship to the Lord.

“Some doors are closed to some christians today because of their luke warm attitude and ungrateful behaviour in using their God’s giving talents to His glory stating that God will never fold His arms to those who are committed in serving Him in His vineyard towards winning souls for Jesus Christ ” the Baptist Cleric stressed.
He explained that christians must not wait until they have everything before rendering their service through the little things they have noting that God do not forget any genuine service be it little or much.
Reverend Deji Oyelami therefore emphasized the need for christians to always be good steward in their service to God towards ensuring the expansion of His kingdom.
“Whatever God is demanding from you, do not hesitate in doing it and make sure you serve the Lord with the whole of your heart because we need good and faithful stewards to prevent the kingdom of God from fallen” He added
