Burial Plans Announced For Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran

The former Director of Primary Health Department, Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran, is to be laid to rest on Friday, 2nd of October, 2026.

A statement by the Committee of Friends for the Burial Programme indicates that the Wake Keep for the deceased will hold on Thursday, 1st of October, 2026, at his residence along Almohas School, Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja.

According to the statement, there will be a prayer session for the deceased at the premises of University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Friday morning before his remains will be moved to Christian Burial Ground in Gwagwalada, Abuja, for final burial.

Aged 55, Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran died on Sunday, 19th of September, 2026, at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Abuja, during a protracted illness.

He is survived by relatives, two wives and four children.
