For the first time since Arsène Wenger’s famous Invincibles lifted the trophy in 2004, Arsenal are once again Premier League champions.

The long-awaited triumph was confirmed dramatically on Tuesday night after title rivals Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, officially handing the title to the North London club.
Arsenal players, coaching staff and manager Mikel Arteta had gathered at their Hertfordshire training ground to watch the decisive match unfold. Shortly after the final whistle, Declan Rice shared a celebratory photo on Instagram featuring Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, Myles Lewis-Skelly and William Saliba.
“I told you all… it’s done,” Rice wrote, referencing his earlier “It’s not done” rallying cry after Arsenal’s defeat to Manchester City last month.
Videos from inside the dressing room captured emotional celebrations as players and staff danced and chanted “champeones” together. Eberechi Eze was seen at the centre of the celebrations, jubilantly jumping on a table while teammates celebrated around him. Reports indicated the squad later departed to continue festivities at a private location.
Following the historic success, Arsenal’s official website praised Arteta’s achievement, describing him as one of the greatest managers in the club’s history. At 44, Arteta becomes the second-youngest manager to win the Premier League title, behind José Mourinho, who achieved the feat with Chelsea in 2005.
The club also released a celebratory social media video introduced by former manager Arsène Wenger, who appeared holding a glass of red wine.
“Champions go on when others stop,” Wenger said. “Now go on and enjoy every moment.”
Arsenal’s title victory concludes a fiercely contested race with Manchester City that fluctuated throughout the second half of the season. The Gunners ultimately emerged victorious, sealing their first league title in 22 years with one game remaining.
For three straight seasons, Arteta’s side finished as runners-up in the Premier League. This campaign, however, Arsenal maintained control at the top for much of the season. Despite lingering doubts over whether they could finally handle the pressure of the run-in, the Gunners responded emphatically.
Arsenal silenced critics by winning four consecutive matches since late April, a run that proved decisive in securing the championship.
Although Manchester City’s draw at Bournemouth mathematically confirmed the title, Arsenal’s success was built over a demanding nine-month campaign decided by the narrowest of margins. Their consistency, resilience and strong finish ultimately delivered the Premier League trophy back to North London.
