50,000 police recruitment: PSC opens portal, notifies successful candidates.

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the names of successful applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 officers into the Nigeria Police Force.


The announcement was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the PSC Head of Protocol and Public Relations, Mr.
Torty Njoku Kalu.
According to the statement, the release followed the successful completion of a comprehensive, inclusive, equitable and transparent recruitment exercise carried out in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, State Career and Counselling Departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee.
The Commission advised all candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination to log in to the official recruitment portal, npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, to check their recruitment status. It added that the portal will be accessible from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
The PSC further stated that successful applicants will receive email and SMS notifications through the contact details they provided during registration. It added that the successful candidates are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates and times that will be communicated later for medical examinations and documentation.
