PDP PRESENTS CERTIFICATE OF RETURN TO ADAMAWA GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, CHIEF CALEB.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Abuja has officially presented the Certificate of Return to Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara FCA JP (Shettiman Batta), formally certifying his election as the party’s flag bearer for the forthcoming Adamawa State Governorship Election.

The certificate, dated June 24, 2026, bears the reference code CR/PDP/GPE and was duly signed by the party’s top national leadership.

Presenting the certificate at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja, the National Chairman of the PDP, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki SAN, alongside the National Secretary, Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, and the Organising Secretary, Theophilus Dakas Shan, affirmed that Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara’s emergence followed a transparent and credible primary process.

In his remarks, Chief Myebangara pledged to run a campaign anchored on unity, economic revitalization, and inclusive governance, while promising to uphold the party’s ideals as he prepares for the gubernatorial contest.

The presentation marks a formal step in the PDP’s preparations for the Adamawa State election, as the party continues its push to reclaim the state in the upcoming polls.

Meanwhile ,the Caretaker Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Kunchi, has extended warm congratulations to Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara FCA JP (Shettiman) following the official presentation of his Certificate of Return by the Party’s National Leadership in Abuja.

In a statement released to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, Kunchi described the event as a strong indication of the party’s success in the 2027 general elections. He attributed this optimism to the proven track record of Chief Myebangara and the enduring popularity of the PDP Presidential candidate, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

The Youth Leader commended the Party’s National Leadership for what he termed a transparent and credible process, reaffirming that the certificate presentation marks the beginning of a renewed push for national rebirth under the PDP platform.

Kunchi further pledged the massive mobilization of Nigerian youths in support of the party, urging Chief Myebangara to remain steadfast and keep the party’s flag flying high as the countdown to the 2027 elections gathers momentum.

“We are confident that with the calibre of leaders like Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara and the visionary leadership of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, the PDP is poised to rescue and rebuild Nigeria,” Kunchi stated.

He called on all party faithful and supporters to remain united and focused on the shared goal of electoral victory.
