Wake Keep: Cleric Urges Nigerians To Leave Lasting Legacies
The Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church, Keida, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Nosakhare Izevbige, has called on Nigerians to always live a life worthy of emulation in all their endeavours.
Pastor Nosakhare Izevbige made the call during the wake keep of Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
The Cleric, who described death as a debt that every living soul would pay, said the best way to live is to leave a good legacy behind for family, loved ones and the society.
While describing Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran as a good man who lived for the betterment of humanity within and outside the Federal Capital Territory, he prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
In his tribute on behalf of members of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, FCT Chapter, the Chairman of the Association, Dr. George Ebong, described Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran as a jolly good colleague who was dedicated and committed to his medical profession and the progress of the Association.

According to him, Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran will be greatly missed by the NMA, FCT Chapter, due to his intellectual contributions to the betterment of the Association.
Also, in his tribute on behalf of Heads of Health Departments in the six Area Councils of the FCT, the HOD, Health, Bwari Area Council, Dr. Magaji Basil, paid glowing tribute to the deceased, describing him as a God-fearing medical practitioner who lived for humanity.

Dr. Magaji Basil, who said the deceased had left a vacuum among HODs of Health in the six Area Councils of the FCT, prayed for the gentle soul of Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran to rest in peace.
Other family members, friends, colleagues, neighbours and others who also paid tribute said Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran lived a purposeful life through his generosity, kindness and love for the upliftment of humanity.
Highlights of the wake keep were songs, testimonies and prayers for both the deceased and the family he left behind.
Aged 55, Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran died on Sunday, 19th September, 2026, at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Abuja, during a protracted illness.
Late Dr. Adeyemi Sunday Adeniran, who was until his death the Director, Primary Health Department, Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, will be laid to rest on Friday, 2nd October, 2026, at Christian Cemetery, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
