The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has adjusted the orientation schedule for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu State and Osun State under the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II exercise.

In a statement issued by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme announced that the orientation programme for both states will now commence on April 28 and conclude on May 18, 2026.
The NYSC explained that the adjustment became necessary due to ongoing renovation work at the orientation camps being carried out by the respective state governments.
It further clarified that the orientation timetable for all other states, including the Federal Capital Territory, remains unchanged, with activities scheduled to run from April 22 to May 12, 2026.
Prospective corps members affected by the revised schedule have been urged to take note of the new dates and comply accordingly. They were also wished safe travels to their assigned locations.
Meanwhile, the scheme has released call-up letters for participants in the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II. Candidates confirmed that their deployment details were made available on the NYSC portal early Monday, although many experienced difficulties accessing the platform due to heavy traffic.
