Grief deepens as pregnant woman dies in chaotic escape from rampaging cow at funeral gathering.

A pregnant woman has reportedly died while trying to escape from a cow that broke loose during a burial ceremony in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

It was gathered that the woman, in an attempt to flee, fell to the ground after the animal suddenly became aggressive, causing panic among guests at the event.
Several people were said to have run in different directions amid the confusion as they scrambled for safety.
According to a social media post by Chinazor Peace Anyadiegwu, a friend of the deceased, the victim had earlier been seen visiting a shop in the area before news of her death reached acquaintances.
The post further described how the incident triggered a stampede-like situation after the cow reportedly broke free from its rope.
While mourning the sudden loss, Anyadiegwu expressed sympathy for the deceased’s family, especially the children she left behind.
As of the time of filing this report, authorities had yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
