NCPC Boss Bishop Adegbite Celebrates Tinubu’s Third Anniversary, Urges Nigerians to Support Government
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, alongside the Board and staff members of the Commission, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Director of Media and Public Relations of the Commission, Celestine Toruka.
Bishop Adegbite stated that President Tinubu has shown purposeful leadership despite the enormous challenges facing the nation at the beginning of his administration on May 29, 2023.
He commended the administration for introducing bold policy measures aimed at tackling the country’s persistent economic difficulties. The NCPC boss also encouraged the President to remain committed to his mandate and avoid distractions from critics.
“Nigeria will surely overcome its present economic difficulties,” Bishop Adegbite said. “I am optimistic that the best is yet to come for our nation.”
He further called on Nigerians to support the administration, pray for enduring solutions to the country’s security challenges, and collaborate with the government in the fight against banditry, insurgency, and kidnapping.
“We have no other country to call our own except Nigeria. Therefore, we must all fight for the soul of our nation, no matter whose ox is gored,” he stated.
Bishop Adegbite also extended his goodwill to the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON; the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON; the Mother of the Nation, and all leaders across the country. He prayed for God’s grace, strength, and good health for the President as he continues to lead the nation successfully through the remainder of his tenure.
