Alleged Plot to Poison Tinubu Untrue – Presidenc

The Presidency has refuted as false and malicious claims circulating online alleging that a chef serving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House was arrested over a supposed plot to poison him.

The clarification came after a viral report surfaced in the early hours of Sunday, suggesting there had been an attempt on the President’s life.
According to The Nation newspaper, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Tope Ajayi, categorically dismissed the report, describing it as completely untrue and fabricated.
“Fake,” Ajayi said in a brief response when contacted on the issue.
