Balmoral Promotions Honours Three WBO Africa Champions as N Effect Mode Ltd Drives Growth of Nigerian Boxing
Lagos, Nigeria – June 2026 — Balmoral Promotions honours three Nigerian boxing champions following the official presentation of their World Boxing Organization (WBO) Africa Championship belts at a special ceremony held at Villa Valhalla, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of *Godday “Zodsolo” Appah*, the WBO Africa Cruiserweight Champion; *Basit Adebayo*, the WBO Africa Lightweight Champion; and *Taiwo Agbaje*, the WBO Africa Featherweight Champion.
The ceremony brought together key stakeholders in the sports industry, including sports executives, media representatives, business leaders, boxing enthusiasts and other invited guests who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the champions.

*Godday “Zodsolo*” Appah earned the WBO Africa Cruiserweight title after his victory over Ezra Arenyeka, marking another significant milestone in his professional career.
*Basit Adebayo* was recognised for securing the WBO Africa Lightweight Championship, while Taiwo Agbaje received his belt as the WBO Africa Featherweight Champion.
The championship belt presentation further highlighted the growing impact of Nigerian boxing and the important roles played by promoters, managers, sponsors and other stakeholders in creating pathways for athletes to succeed internationally.
