Governor Ododo Donates 10 Electric Patrol Motorcycles To FRSC
Governor Usman Ododo has donated 10 Electric Patrol Motorcycles to the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC to strengthen traffic control, enhance enforcement operations and improve rapid response to emergencies across Kogi state.
Governor Ododo announced the donation during his investiture as the patron of the FRSC Special Marshal in Kogi State.
The Governor said this would strengthen the growing partnership between the FRSC and the Kogi state government towards improving road safety and protecting lives on one of Nigeria’s busiest transportation corridors.
Speaking further, the Governor dedicated the investiture to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in recognition of his visionary leadership, absolute support for the Federal Road Safety Corps and sustained commitment to strengthening institutions working to safeguard the lives of Nigerians.
On his part, FRSC Corps Marshal Mallam Shehu Mohammed who performed the investiture in the Government House Lokoja commended Governor Ododo for demonstrating exemplary leadership by not only accepting the responsibility of serving as Patron of the Special Marshals in Kogi State but also making a tangible contribution to enhancing the Corps’ operational capacity through the donation of the electric patrol motorcycles.
