Hon. Dattuwa Felicitates Kabiru Masari on Appointment as Tinubu’s Special Adviser
The appointment of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as Special Adviser on Political Affairs to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to attract commendations, with party leaders and stakeholders describing it as a strategic step aimed at strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) and advancing Nigeria’s democratic governance.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Dattuwa Ali Kumo, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Deputy National Financial Secretary of the APC, praised Masari’s elevation, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his loyalty, competence and political acumen.
Hon. Dattuwa noted that Masari’s appointment comes at a crucial time when the APC needs to consolidate its leadership and deepen unity across diverse political interests. He said Masari’s wealth of experience and inclusive style would not only reinforce the party’s internal cohesion but also offer President Tinubu valuable advice in shaping policies that promote national growth and stability.
“Alhaji Kabiru Masari has consistently demonstrated resilience and a strong commitment to progressive governance. His new role will serve as an important bridge between government and party structures, ensuring that the APC remains responsive to the aspirations of Nigerians while guiding the President toward decisions that will strengthen both the party and the country,” Hon. Dattuwa said.
Political analysts have also noted that Masari’s appointment reflects President Tinubu’s resolve to surround himself with trusted allies who possess both political depth and organizational capacity. According to them, Masari’s advisory position will strengthen the administration’s political strategy, reinforce the APC’s grassroots presence and contribute to the continued growth of Nigeria’s democracy.
Stakeholders across the APC have expressed optimism that Masari’s new role will significantly influence the party’s future direction and support the success of President Tinubu’s administration. For many, the appointment is viewed not only as recognition of Masari’s personal qualities but also as a step toward building a more inclusive and responsive political structure that aligns with the aspirations of Nigerians.
