Corps Marshal Rewards Exemplary Officers, Promotes Ethical Standards in FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has once again reaffirmed its dedication to integrity, transparency, and professionalism as the Corps Marshal, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, formally recognised and rewarded outstanding personnel whose conduct continues to reflect the highest ideals of public service.
At a ceremony held in Abuja, the Corps Marshal presented commendation letters and cash rewards to a select group of officers and marshals whose consistent commitment to ethical standards has set them apart in the discharge of their duties.
Mallam Shehu Mohammed explained that the honourees, drawn from various operational commands nationwide, were celebrated not just for isolated achievements but for demonstrating a sustained culture of discipline, accountability, and professional excellence in line with the Corps’ core values.
He noted that the gesture is part of a deliberate institutional framework aimed at motivating personnel, strengthening public confidence, and reinforcing the Corps’ zero-tolerance policy towards unethical conduct.
According to him, integrity remains the foundation of effective law enforcement and public safety administration.
He added that the Corps will continue to identify, encourage, and reward actions that enhance its image.
“Today’s award highlights an enduring culture and serves as a reminder that integrity is both expected and appreciated,” he said.
He further emphasised that the initiative goes beyond recognition, serving as a source of inspiration for all personnel to remain committed to upholding the values that define the Corps.
He reaffirmed management’s commitment to providing the right environment, leadership, and incentives needed to sustain ethical conduct and operational excellence across all levels.
