Kugbo Windstorm Causes Damage, No Injuries Reported

A windstorm during heavy rainfall on Tuesday evening caused damage to the Kugbo Bus Terminal and several nearby buildings, with minor impact on the Nyanya pedestrian bridge along the Nyanya–Keffi road.

In a statement, Mr. Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, confirmed that no injuries or vehicle damages were reported.
The statement added that FCT Minister Mr. Nyesom Wike has instructed security personnel to be deployed at the site to maintain law and order and ensure smooth traffic flow.
Authorities have assured that immediate steps will be taken to repair the damages caused by the storm.
