Popular Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has reportedly passed away at the age of 40, following claims shared on social media by fellow actor Godwin Nnadiekwe.

Nnadiekwe announced the development in an Instagram post on Tuesday, expressing deep sadness over the reported loss. He described Ekubo as “a rare soul” and said the news came as a painful shock to him.
According to the actor, he found it difficult to come to terms with the situation, writing that the news had completely broken him emotionally.
He also stated: “To think you already prepared your will — it’s a heartbreak I can’t quite describe. Rest well, my friend.”
As of the time this report was filed, there had been no official confirmation from Ekubo’s family or management regarding the reports of his death.
