3rd Anniversary: DG NADDC Congratulates President Bola Tinubu, Lauds His Initiative ON First Nigeria Policy

The Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC, Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his third year in office.

In a congratulatory message on the Third Anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s Administration, Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin described the President’s renewed hope agenda as a positive game changer in Nigeria’s economic and infrastructural development.

The Director General of NADDC also congratulated President Tinubu on his emergence as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2027 Presidential election.

Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin described the over ten million votes secured by President Bola Tinubu in the APC primary election conducted recently in the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT as a declaration of support for his performance in the last three years.

According to him, the support and enabling environment provided by the President for local assemblers and other stakeholders through the activities and programmes of NADDC in Nigeria’s automotive sector in the last three years has boost job creation, youth empowerment and enhance the development of the sector.

He described the introduction of Compressed Natural Gas, CNG’s initiative under President Bola Tinubu’s led administration as a welcomed development in the nation’s automotive industry to reduce dependence on Premium Motor Spirit, PMS and reduce the cost of transportation in the country.

While equally commending the First Nigeria Policy initiative of President Tinubu, the Director General of NADDC said the move is already yielding positive results in Nigeria’s automotive industry as local assemblers are being encouraged in their production

Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin stated that NADDC had already signed a strategic document with the Bereau of Public Procurement, BPP, on effective collaboration towards the implementation of the First Nigeria Policy to fully actualize its aims and objectives in the country’s automotive industry.

He explained that the policy would boost the patronage of Made in Nigeria vehicles thereby creating jobs, promote local production and enhance the growth of economic and the sector generally.

Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin therefore solicited the support of all stakeholders in the patronage of Made in Nigeria vehicles and the implementation of the First Nigeria Policy towards realizing the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu most especially in the nation’s automotive industry.
