Online Romance Gone Wrong: Lady Begs for Fare Back to Lagos

A woman has appealed for help after travelling from Lagos to Enugu to meet a man she connected with on Facebook, only to find herself stranded in the state.

In a video circulating on social media, the woman is seen sitting beside a green travel bag while recounting what she described as a disappointing experience.

She said she travelled from Lagos to Enugu after meeting the man on Facebook, but things did not turn out as she expected.

According to her, the man disappointed her after she arrived in Enugu, leaving her without enough money to make the journey back to Lagos.

Visibly frustrated, she appealed to members of the public to assist her with transport fare so she could return home.
The woman could be seen speaking emotionally in the video as she explained her situation while asking for financial assistance.

The video, shared on X, described the woman as having travelled to Enugu to visit a man she met on Facebook, but said she was left stranded after the man allegedly disappointed her.
