Chinwendu shines in Albania, nets winner to claim Man of the Match award

Godswil Chinwendu continues to make waves in the Albanian league, delivering back-to-back goals and earning Man of the Match recognition after scoring the decisive goal for his club at the weekend, J.
K. Football Academy CEO, Pastor Ifeanyi Isaac, confirmed on Monday.The striker’s latest effort secured victory for his side and lifted the team from 7th to 5th position on the table, placing them firmly in contention for the playoffs. “With the winning goal, he moved the team from 7th to 5th position into the playoff race,” Pastor Isaac said, commending the player’s influence since his arrival.
Chinwendu, who graduated from J.K. Football Academy in Abuja, has maintained impressive form in Albania, delivering consistent performances that have begun to attract interest from clubs in Belgium, Germany, and France. As the season approaches its decisive stage, several scouts are closely monitoring the Nigerian forward.
Pastor Isaac called on the Nigeria Football Federation to keep a close watch on Chinwendu’s progress, describing him as a promising long-term prospect for the Super Eagles. “The Nigeria Football Federation should follow him up. He is one of Nigeria’s long-term players for the Super Eagles,” he said.
He further suggested that both the U-23 team and Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle should consider the in-form striker for future call-ups. Pastor Isaac also revealed that Chinwendu was initially discovered by a Ghanaian coach, while J.K. Football Academy has consistently monitored his development, with updates provided by their correspondent in Albania.
