The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it has restricted the movement of no fewer than ninety-six articulated vehicles during peak periods on Day Two of the ongoing Operation Safe Kugbo in the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT Sector Commander of FRSC, Felix Theman, while briefing newsmen in Abuja, said the operation is an initiative aimed at mitigating road traffic crashes by restricting the movement of articulated vehicles and trucks in line with the provisions of Section 223 of the National Road Traffic Regulations.

The sector commander therefore urged operators of heavy-duty vehicles to comply with the restrictions, noting that sustained enforcement under Operation Safe Kugbo remains a key measure to ensure safer and more efficient movement within the Federal Capital Territory.
