Bishop Adegbite Urges Faith, Unity as He Declares Resurrection Power Overcomes Evil
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has issued a strong Easter message, declaring that the resurrection power of Jesus Christ will restore peace in Nigeria and across the world.
In his message, Bishop Adegbite expressed confidence that the power of Christ’s resurrection will triumph over the forces of evil and usher in enduring peace in troubled nations. He noted that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross has restored the dignity of humanity and called on Christians to reflect His selfless lifestyle.
“Let us shun moral arrogance, pride, and sin, and live lives worthy of emulation,” he stated. “Life is a journey, not a destination, and we will all give account of our deeds to God.”
Bishop Adegbite also extended his condolences to families affected by the Palm Sunday killings in Jos, affirming that the resurrection power of Christ will bring peace back to Plateau State. He further urged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his administration, while encouraging citizens to remain law-abiding as the 2027 general elections draw near.
“Christ has risen! Let us embrace one another, irrespective of our religious beliefs,” he added.
