Bwari Council, STDD Join Forces for Cleaner Communities

The Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Joshua Ishaku, has partnered with the FCT Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD) to carry out a comprehensive clean-up exercise across parts of the council as part of efforts to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.

Speaking with Kapital FM in Abuja, Ishaku said the initiative is designed to improve sanitation and enhance the overall living conditions of residents. He noted that environmental cleanliness remains a key priority of his administration’s commitment to public health and sustainable development.
The council chairman stressed that a clean environment plays a vital role in improving the well-being and productivity of the people, urging residents to embrace proper waste disposal practices and support efforts to keep their communities clean.
Ishaku reaffirmed the council’s commitment to sustaining environmental sanitation programmes to ensure a healthier and cleaner environment for all residents.
