President Tinubu Urges Peace, Unity and Shared Responsibility After Eid-el-Fitr

President Bola Tinubu has offered prayers for peace across Nigeria, calling on citizens to uphold the values of patience, tolerance, and neighbourliness imbibed during the periods of Ramadan and Lent.


Speaking shortly after observing the Eid-el-Fitr prayers in Lagos, the President emphasized that the country’s development is anchored on peaceful and harmonious coexistence among its people.

He urged Nigerians to treat security as a collective duty, encouraging vigilance and the reporting of any suspicious activities to relevant authorities.
President Tinubu also stressed that the spirit of charity, kindness, and care for the less privileged should not end with the fasting season but be sustained in everyday life.
According to him, all religions advocate the worship of one God, urging citizens to demonstrate strong moral and spiritual values in their daily conduct.
He further described nation-building as a joint effort, calling on Nigerians to remain united and embrace the nation’s diversity.
